Romina Vafaei, Born into an artistic family in Iran, embarked on her artistic journey from a very young age, surrounded by an environment that not only encouraged, but celebrated creative expression.
She initially explored the realms of oil painting, focusing on portraits and still life.
However, at age 15, her life took a significant turn as her family sought refuge in the United States, a pivotal moment in her artistic evolution. It was during this period of transition that Romina began to delve into the realms of impressionism and abstract art, experimenting with new techniques and forms of expression.
Romina‘s artistic style is characterized by its vibrancy and expressiveness with a distinctive emphasis on 3-D and hyper textured flowers crafted from acrylic paint. Is a testament to her deep reverence for the natural world and a profound connection to her cultural heritage blending elements of both into every brushstroke. She often used Persian and Arabic calligraphy with 24 karat gold in her paintings.
